16th Sept 2020 Parent Network update

A short update this week with just 4 items for you.

Information, Advice and Support (IAS) Consultation update
The Information, Advice and Support consultation closed in July and thank you to those of you who took part.  There were 232 responses which is a really good number for a Hertfordshire consultation. HPCI continues to be involved in this piece of work which is now looking at the feedback from the consultation and how that can inform the next steps. KIDS Hubs will not now be closing this Autumn, as previously announced, because Hertfordshire County Council has extended the HUBS contract until 31st March 2021 so they will continue to offer their existing services until then.  A further update is expected in October as the IAS project progresses.

Educational Psychology (EP) Service film for parents and carers
Hertfordshire EP service has released a short film (18 minutes) to help parents and carers support their children returning to education. All of the service’s educational psychologists have shared this with their schools.  And you can find it on YouTube via this link:  https://youtu.be/6itKkr_IYvs
